An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Dance Madness, the 1926 Robert Z. Leonard Paris France silent romantic infidelity mistaken identity comedy (about an American couple who have been married for two years and they go to Paris for their anniversary, and the husband meets a sexy masked cabaret dancer, and considers being unfaithful to his wife with her, and the wife discovers this, and instead of divorcing him, she meets the dancer, and arranges to take her place in her costume, and teach her husband a major lesson!; interestingly, the masked dancer is played by Hedda Hopper, who decades later, became one of the foremost Hollywood gossip columnists!) starring Claire Windsor, Conrad Nagel, Hedda Hopper, Douglas Gilmore and Mario Carillo NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good. The card was lightly water stained throughout the top half, and in some scattered areas in the bottom half. The card was originally hand-colored (meaning the color of the title and the woman's dress were literally done by hand), and the water staining caused those colors to "run" in various areas. There are smudges and stains around the edges of the card and in the background areas, but they are not very distracting. Certainly, a talented restorer could paperback the card, and probably remove some or all of the staining through chemical means, and after proper restoration, the poster will look great!
