Date Sold 12/24/2017 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 29 deluxe 11x14 stills from Shampoo. Note that this is one of the most elaborate promotions like this we have seen! Columbia Pictures made two deluxe leather spiral-bound albums, and one has wonderful full-page close up black & white images from the movie, and the other has wonderful color close ups. All are printed on a very heavy deluxe stock and each has still code numbers penciled on the back. We can't imagine they made very many of these (they must have cost a fortune to produce). Our consignor was a studio executive at the time, which is why he received them! He also received a pair of similar albums from "Funny Lady", and we are auctioning those in a separate auction. Of course, Shampoo is the classic 1975 Hal Ashby romantic love triangle thriller ("Your hairdresser does it better", "Written by Robert Towne and Warren Beatty"; about an over-sexed hairdresser who sleeps with practically every female in the movie!) starring Warren Beatty, Julie Christie, Goldie Hawn, Jack Warden (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Carrie Fisher, Lee Grant (winner of the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Tony Bill, and William Castle Measurements: 12 1/2" x 14 1/2"Condition: very good to fine.
