An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Horst Buchholz was a German/U.S. actor from the 1950s to the 2000s. He became known to U.S. audiences in The Magnificent Seven in 1961, where he was billed as "Introducing Horst Buchholz", which was not at all correct, since not only had he been acting in Germany for several years, but he had appeared in more than one American movie, and was billed in those pre Magnificent Seven movies as "Henry Bookholt" (likely because producers did not think American audiences would like his German name). Some of his other movies include: Tiger Bay, and Young Rebel. Horst passed away in 2003 at the age of 69. Condition: very good. There is a rectangular area of surface paper loss on the back of the center of the still, but it has no effect on the front, and the still is otherwise in pretty nice condition!
