Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we received this vertical British quad, which is a "country of origin" poster for this English movie! Few people know that in the early days of British quads, they were originally in a vertical format (but they measured 30" x 40", just as they continue to do throughout the years). This is because so few of them survive, almost surely because of the massive paper shortages in England during World War II! At some point in the 1950s, they changed orientation to be horizontal, and they have remained that way to the present day. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was tri-folded only. It had some small tears and small paper loss in parts of the folds, and pinholes, tears, and small paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Learn More about condition grades
