An Original Vintage Theatrical Color 8" x 10" (8x10) Movie Still (Learn More) Marilyn Chambers was a former Ivory soap box model who became notorious when she appeared in the X-rated movie "Behind the Green Door", which caused her to be released from her modeling contract by Procter & Gamble, and she continued to make X-rated movies. She later had some roles in mainstream movies, including David Cronenberg's "Rabid", and later, she had a long-running series on the Playboy Channel on cable TV. She passed away on April 12, 2009 at the age of 56, following an aortic aneurysm. Important Added Info: Note that there is a glued on snipe on the back which reads "Marilyn Chambers, PRIVATE SCREENINGS, May, 1982". This still was consigned to us from a collection of stills and posters that came from a New York City adult movie theater. Also note that this still is printed on Kodak paper, but we believe it to surely be an original still. Sometimes, studios would run out of stills and have extras printed on Kodak stock.
