Note that this movie is always referred to as a "1937" movie, but it actually only had a limited opening in December 1937 (no doubt to qualify for the Oscars), and then it had its wide opening in February 1938. But because it is always referred to as being from 1937, we refer to it that way as well (and of course, it is technically correct). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this 1938 first release English window card! We know it is from exactly 1938, because it fortunately has "Monday, October 24th" printed at the top, and that occurred in 1938! Condition: good. The English window card measures 12 1/4" x 20" and it was created that size. It has stains and smudges around the edges and a light "wave" down the right edge. There are two tiny circular areas of paper loss in Snow White's face and two in her upper body (all four are extremely tiny). This is the kind of poster that responds really well to restoration. It is likely that much or most of the staining can be removed chemically, and after proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
