An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Snow Dog, the 1950 Frank McDonald western Canadian Mounted Police adventure thriller ("Suggested by James Oliver Curwood's 'Tentacles of the North'") starring Kirby Grant, Elena Verdugo, Rick Vallin, Milburn Stone Milburn Stone, and Chinook ("The Wonder Dog"). Note that Chinook the Wonder Dog was a white dog that looked like a cross between a Siberian Husky and a German Shepherd, and he appeared in ten movies between 1949 and 1954, all set in the Yukon. We were unable to find out why Chinook's career ended so suddenly, but perhaps he had substance abuse problems or some other problem! The poster has darkened and become very brittle with age. There are large areas of separation along the foldlines and there is some paper loss and tattering along the foldlines and edges of the poster.
