Exotic! Dramatic! Fascinating! Wondrous sights to thrill and amaze you!"; "Enthralling romance of the slave girl whose beauty enslaved her masters..."; based on the play by Oscar Asche; a musical version of "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves") starring Anna May Wong, George Robey (as Ali Baba), Fritz Kortner, John Garrick, and Pearl Argyle. Note that when this movie was released in the U.S. by Gaumont British, the designers of the lobby cards chose to use an image of low-billed Pearl Argyle, perhaps because they did not want to use an image of Anna May Wong! Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this window card (and all first release posters from this title are extremely rare)! Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 11 1/2" x 16" [29 x 41 cm]. Also note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: poor. The poster was trimmed significantly (and there is additional paper loss and tears around the edges), but it is fortunate that much of the title and credits remain, and likely much of the art of Anna May Wong.
