A Hard Day's Night (released in some countries as "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah"), the classic 1964 Richard Lester English rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) musical adventure screwball comedy ("The Greatest Rock & Roll Comedy Adventure"; "The Beatles in their first full-length, hilarious, action-packed film!"; "6 Brand New Songs Plus Your Beatles Favorites!") starring The Beatles (John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr), Wilfrid Brambell, Norman Rossington, John Junkin, Victor Spinetti, and Anna Quayle

Important Added Info: Note that we have only once before auctioned this Japanese premiere poster! However, the person who purchased this from us when we auctioned it the first time now needs to sell it, so we are auctioning it again, so it is still the only example of this poster we have ever auctioned!

Also note that this ultra-rare style of Japanese poster (which measures larger than a regular Japanese B2, 22 1/2" x 36 3/4", and which is printed on a heavier paper stock, and which has some English writing along with some Japanese writing) was first consigned to us from Japan and our Japanese consignor told us that Christie's South Kensington auctioned a single example of this poster in 2009, and they said that "Recent research suggests that this poster was produced exclusively for the premiere of A Hard Day's Night in Japan.". We previously auctioned two similar posters from "Help!", which were for the premiere of that movie, and, as stated above, we only once auctioned this poster, which has a completely different image from that of the regular Japanese B2 on this title, and we are now re-auctioning it.

Condition: good to very good. The poster has scattered faint brown stains on the back of the poster, in the top 1/3 and bottom 1/3. Some of that slightly shows through to the front in the white background areas (t is much more noticeable on back than on the front). While the poster can definitely be displayed as is, it also is a good candidate for restoration, because it is likely that most or all of the faint staining could be removed through chemical means, and either way, this ultra-rare poster will look fantastic on the new owners wall!
