An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Bab's Candidate (also released as "Babs"), the 1920 Edward Griffith silent politcal comedy ("From a popular Harper's Magazine story by Forrest Crissey") starring Corinne Griffith (in the title role as Barbara Marvin), George Facett, Webster Campbell, Charles S. Abbe, and William Holden (in his first credited role!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: fair. All of the black tape is missing and there is staining in the borders that affects three corners of the image (see our image). The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass, but the play dates were mostly erased (see our image).
