An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Ashes of Embers, the 1916 Edward Jose & Joseph Kaufman silent infidelity marriage crime melodrama (about twin sisters, one good and one evil, and the good one goes to prison for the evil one, and after she gets out, she helps save her evil sister's marriage, but everything works out in the end, with the evil sister getting killed and the good sister marrying her husband!) starring Pauline Frederick (in a dual role as twin sisters), Earle Foxe, Frank Losee, J. Herbert Frank, and Maggie Fisher. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides.
