Kazan, the 1949 Will Jason man-and-his-dog canine wilderness adventure thriller ("James Oliver Curwood's great-hearted dog hero!"; "James Oliver Curwood's great dog adventure!"; "Out of James Oliver Curwood's most exciting pages..."; "Based upon the novel by James Oliver Curwood") starring Stephen Dunne, Lois Maxwell, Joe Sawyer, Roman Bohnen, and Zoro (the dog; in the title role as Kazan). Note that Zoro the Dog also appeared in the 1950 film Timber Fury (as "Zoro the Wonder Dog"), but apparently retired after that.
