An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More)

Rubber Heels, the 1927 Victor Heerman silent comedy starring Ed Wynn (in his first movie!), Chester Conklin, Thelma Todd, Robert Andrews, and John Harrington. Note that Ed Wynn was not happy with his role in the film, so he offered to buy the film from Paramount for the cost of the production. They obviously refused. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: Note that there are stains around all the staples on the front and back of the cardboard holder, but that the glass itself is in pretty nice condition! Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).
