An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked French Stage Show/Movie Poster (measures 15 1/4" x 23 1/2" [39 x 60 cm]) (Learn More) Alhambra, the circa 1950s French poster promoting both on stage performances and movie screenings to be held at the Alhambra Theater in Paris, France, including a stage performance by Mick Micheyl accompanied by Armand Canfora and his trio, the Marnhy Trio, and "The Volaire", as well as a movie screening of Seminole, the 1953 Budd Boetticher Florida Native American Indian cowboy western ("The glory and the fury of the Everglades Indian Wars"; "The Fighting Story of the Great Chief OSCEOLA!"; "Story and Screenplay by Charles K. Peck, Jr." ) starring Rock Hudson, Barbara Hale, Anthony Quinn (as a former soldier who quits the army and becomes "Osceola", the chief of the Seminole tribe!), Richard Carlson, Hugh O'Brian, Russell Johnson, and Lee Marvin. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had some tiny faint water stains in parts of the borders. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
