Jet-Hot thrills!"; "Greatest air spectacle of the Jet Age!"; "Earth-shaking, sky-shattering!... So Big it took years to make!"; "The Roar of Jets! Those Screaming Eagles are on the job in the greatest air spectacle of the jet age!"; "No man can pay the price for what this woman offers!"; "Only The Sky was big enough to hold the sweep and power of this epic-making picture!"; "Written and Produced by Jules Furthman"; produced by Howard Hughes) starring John Wayne, Janet Leigh, "The U.S. Air Force", Jay C. Flippen, Paul Fix, Hans Conried, John Bishop, Roland Winters, and Richard Rober. Note that this movie was produced in 1950 but not released until 1957. RKO had ceased to exist at the time this movie was finally released, and Universal probably re-used old printing plates, and put their logo at the bottom, covering over the old one which explains why materials on this movie have both studios printed on them! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this some posters for this movie have the RKO logo in the lower right, but under that is "Released by UNIVERSAL-INTERNATIONAL". There are other posters that don't have that printing in the lower right, but which have the RKO copyright overprinted with black in the lower left, and have "UNIVERSAL PICTURES CO., INC." overprinted below it. We believe this means that these posters were used for the non-U.S. release of this movie. If anyone knows for sure, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: good to very good. There are some pinholes around the edges. Some of them are torn or enlarged due to rough removal, however there is paper loss at lower left. There is some fold and border wear and there are some tiny areas of paper loss along the upper vertical foldline. It is otherwise in pretty good condition and if one chose to have it restored it would look great, although I imagine many collectors would be happy with this poster as it is.
