An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Japanese "B2" Movie Poster (measures 20 1/4" x 28 5/8" [51 x 73 cm]) (Learn More) Dai-bosatsu toge (released in the U.S. as "Sword of Doom" and in in other English-speaking countries as "Killer Samurai"), the 1966 Kihachi Okamoto Japanese samurai revenge action melodrama (about a student whose father is unfairly killed by a brutal gang, and he leaves school and one by one, he kills every member of the gang) starring Tatsuya Nakadai, Toshiro Mifune (in a small but important role as the master who trains the student), Yuzo Kayama, Michiyo Aratama, Yoko Naito, Tadao Nakamaru, and Ke Sato. Note that this movie has an abrupt ending because it was intended to be the first of at least a trilogy of movies (it is based on a legendary 41 volume single novel!), but no sequels were made. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: fair. The poster is in much lesser condition. There are tears around the edges and in portions of the folds (partially repaired with tape from the back) and several stains scattered throughout.
