An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) That Man's Here Again, the 1937 Louis King romantic comedy (based on the story by Ida A.R. Wylie) starring Hugh Herbert, Mary Maguire, Tom Brown, Joe King, Teddy Hart, Cliff Sam, and Mariska Aldrich NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. at some point the poster was paperbacked by a top restorer (it was backed onto a very light Japanese rice paper). The main reason for the paperbacking was that there was a 4" slightly diagonal tear that started at the right end of the top foldline and another 4" slightly diagonal tear that started at the right end of the bottom foldline (the tear in the top foldline was solely in the white background and the tear in the bottom foldline just reached the edge of the red background). The paperbacking mended these tears but keeps the poster looking just like an unbacked poster. There were also a few other small tears around the edges of the poster and some tiny stains and smudges around the edges, and some faint scuffs in the title area. The poster has been handled enough, that the horizontal foldlines are now visible, but they could be greatly minimized by laying the poster under weight for a time, or of course, the poster could be linenbacked, and without any additional restoration, it would look great!
