An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Chapter #11 (Death Closes In) One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Mysterious Doctor Satan, the 1940 John English & William Witney masked super hero mad scientist science fiction (sci-fi) horror serial ("A Republic Serial in 15 Chapters") starring Eduardo Ciannelli (billed as "Edward Ciannelli"; in the title role as Doctor Satan), Robert Wilcox (as Bob Wayne, and also as "Copperhead", the mysterious masked super hero), William Newell, C. Montague Shaw, Ella Neal, Dorothy Herbert, William Whitney, John English, and Jack Mulhall. Note that posters and lobby cards from this serial have always been popular, both because it is a science fiction serial with a masked super hero (he has a secret identity of "Bob Wayne", and it is not hard to guess where they got that name from!), and because it has a great funky robot that appears prominently on all of the posters! Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking.
