An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Island of Lost Men, the 1939 Kurt Neumann crime mystery thriller ("Based on a play by Norman Reilly Raine and Frank Butler"; "Screen play by William R. Lipman and Horace McCoy"; about a ruthless jungle plantation owner who is visited by the Asian daughter of a Chinese general, who wants to clear her father's name) starring Anna May Wong, J. Carrol Naish, Anthony Quinn, Eric Blore, and Broderick Crawford. Note that this was a re-make of the 1931 movie, "White Woman", starring Carole Lombard! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: fine. This glass slide is in really excellent condition, and we feel that EVERY collector would be happy to own it. It IS possible it may have a MINOR defect or defects, but nothing at all significant. But we bet many dealers would call items in this grade "mint" or "near mint"! Learn More about condition grades
