Artist: Rinaldo Geleng & Fouteau & Rene Ferracci Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this poster, and that one sold for $1,605! Also note that we have seen two different styles of French one-panel poster, one with art by Mascii and the other with art by Rinaldo Geleng, Fouteau & Rene Ferracci. One is printed by Gaillard, and the other is printed by Bedos, and we believe that both are first release. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this partially French movie! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had darkened. It had some small paper loss at the crossfolds and some tears and paper loss scattered on some of the folds. It had some stains scattered throughout, more so around the edges, but also scattered within the image. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was mounted onto a thin linen, with no excess and no restoration. Obviously, it could be removed from the old linen and properly backed, but bear this in mind, and the cost of restoration, before bidding on this poster. Learn More about condition grades
