Mr. Bill was the character that started on Saturday Night Live. He was a claymation character who had the worst luck in the world, and he had an archenemy named Sluggo. In 1980, our consignor wrote to the publisher of the forthcoming book called "The Mr. Bill Show", asking for a promo poster for the book, and enclosing a check for $3. The assistant to the publisher wrote back and said "Who could turn down a plea from such big Mr. Bill fans?", and not only returned the $3, but also enclosed two promotional posters (one of which our consignor kept) and also promo Mr. Bill money and bookmarks, and all these items will go to the high bidder on this auction (see our images of everything).
