Please observe the Time Feature Schedule carefully."; based on the novel by Pierre Boileau and Thomas Narcejac) starring Simone Signoret, Vera Clouzot, Paul Meurisse, Charles Vanel, Jean Brochard, Noel Roquevert, and Pierre Larquey. Note that Alfred Hitchcock wanted to buy the film rights to the source novel for this film, but Clouzot beat him to the punch. The authors subsequently wrote "D'Entre Les Morts", and Hitchcock filmed it as 1958's Vertigo! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
