Directed by H.G,. Clouzot - master of suspense!") starring Brigitte Bardot ("in her most explosive role..."), Charles Vanel, Paul Meurisse (billed as "with the participation of Paul Meurisse"), Louis Seigner ("Member of the Comedie Francaise"), Marie-Jose Nat, and Sami Frey NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this partially Italian movie! Condition: good. The poster had a paper snipe glued to the middle left of the poster. Someone started to remove the top right of the snipe, and it was leaving white paper on the poster, so they just left it as it was. The poster also had some tears and very tiny areas of tiny paper loss scattered down parts of the vertical foldline and a lesser amount of wear on the other folds. There was tiny paper loss in the top of the "A" of "LA" and the "E" of "VERITA", and there were tears and tiny paper loss in between the "T" and "A" of "VERITA". There were some scuffs and tiny dot stains scattered through the poster, more so in the solid black area at middle right. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do much of any restoration to the defects described above, including the paper snipe, which is slightly detached at right. If I owned this cool poster, I would have a restorer attempt to remove the snipe (either with or without re-backing the poster) and perform some extra restoration. Learn More about condition grades
