Moore-McCormack Lines was a series of companies operating as shipping lines from 1913 to 1982. From a small start of one ship the company expanded to become a major U.S. line operating around the world.

Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this travel poster! Also note that in 1958, the company introduced the SS Brasil (which originally included a solarium for nude sun bathing) and SS Argentina. The ships were sold to the Holland America Line in 1972, and later scrapped in the early 2000s.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had some very minor border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
