He was part of the Three Mesquiteers (as Lullaby Joslin). He was a ventriloquist who often performed ventriloquism in his movie appearances with his dummy, Elmer. Some of his movie roles include: Ride, Ranger, Ride, Manhattan Merry-Go-Round, Trail of the Silver Spurs, and Giant (uncredited, as Dr. Walker).
