An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (measures 14" x 22") (Learn More) West Point of the Air, the 1934 Richard Rosson Army Air Force airplane aviation fighter pilot military academy romantic action thriller ("Biggest romantic thrill since 'Hell Divers'"; from the story by John Monk Saunders & James Kevin McGuinness; about a father who trains pilots and his son joins his group, and he needs to "make a man" out of him, while the son is busy falling in love!) starring Wallace Beery, Robert Young, Maureen O'Sullivan, Lewis Stone, James Gleason, Robert Livingston, and Russell Hardie NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good. there were six nail holes scattered around the edges of the card and one nail hole near the center of the card in the "A" of "AIR"; someone quite neatly mended the holes and put a piece of white tape over the reverse of each and probably also cleaned up smudges and stains that were on the front; the card now looks quite nice! This window card is in "lesser" condition (it is clearly in less than "very good" condition, and may be all the way down to "fair" condition, as we are selling a collection of early window cards that were found inside of a wall, and those all have water stains and other defects, which should be easily seen on our large images)! This window card has clear defects, which are likely to be very noticeable in our "large" or "super-sized" images that you can click on from our small image at right. In addition, we have also noted in words what these defects are in our "Description of Defects" section above, as some of these defects may not be all that visible in the images. We know that some collectors could accept this window card's defects, and display it as is, and we also know that many collectors would only be happy with this window card if they had it restored, so please do not bid on it unless you can accept it as it is, or are willing to pay to have it properly restored. Of course, you should realize that if you do not bid on this window card because of its condition defects, it may be quite some time before you see this window card offered again!
