An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Merry Mavericks, the 1951 Edward Bernds slapstick cowboy western comedy short ("As up-and-coming... always leave-'em-laughing con-men in the wild and wooly West!"; "A Columbia Short-Subject Presentation"; in this entry, the Stooges are mistaken for lawmen, and capture crooks, and they also have to guard a haunted house that has a ghost of a Native American Indian chief) starring The Three Stooges (Moe Howard, Larry Fine, Shemp Howard), Don Harvey, Marian Martin, and Paul Campbell. Note that this short reused some of the footage from their 1943 movie "Phony Express", and there was a dentist sequence that was filmed for this movie, but which was edited out and then used in "The Tooth Will Out", made the same year. The poster had tiny paper loss at the bottom two crossfolds and small paper loss at the top crossfold, with minor wear on the folds. It had pinholes in the corners and small paper loss in the left of the top blank border. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking.
