An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Swedish Movie Poster (measures 28" x 39 1/4" [71 x 100 cm]) (Learn More) Two Can Play, the 1926 Nat Ross silent romantic love triangle melodrama (Clara Bow is the daughter of a rich man, who loves a man her father disapproves of; the father hires a man to find "dirt" on the boyfriend, but he is unsuccessful, and then the man arranges for himself, Bow, and the boyfriend to be shipwrecked on an island, in the hopes that he could prove to Bow how much better he is than her boyfriend, but things don't work out the way he had hoped) starring Clara Bow, George Fawcett, Allan Forrest, Wallace MacDonald, and Vola Vale. Note that Clara Bow was the most famous "flapper girl" of the mid to late 1920s (she became known as "The It Girl" after the character she played based on the popular novel by Elinor Glyn). She had a major role in Wings, and was Paramount's biggest star at that time. But she had a notorious private life and seemingly "settled down" when she married cowboy star Rex Bell in 1931 (she had two children and she retired from movies), but sadly in 1949 she went into a mental institution after a failed suicide attempt (she had had psychiatric issues for quite some time) and she was released but never returned to her family, and lived alone until her death in 1965. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Eric Rohman Important Added Info: Note that any movie paper from any country for this film is incredibly rare. We have only auctioned a single movie paper item from this movie (a lobby card in 2019 which sold for $460!) until we were consigned this Swedish poster with completely different and very sexy art by Eric Rohman! Note also that this item contains some nudity, so we have placed a white bar over those areas for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual item does not have the white bars. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good to fine. The poster has very light fold and border wear with tiny paper loss at the crossfold. There are some faint smudges to the upper right of Bow's right shoulder. Overall the very rare poster is in excellent condition and it displays quite well! Learn More about condition grades
