He was the Governor of Florida, having been elected in 2010, and because of term limits, he could not run again in 2018. So he ran for Senator from Florida, and won, in an incredibly close election! Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Rick Scott! Note that our consignor started obtaining autographs in person decades ago when he would go to premieres and other places that celebrities appeared. He has continued this hobby throughout the years, and now he has reached an age where he has consigned some of his vast collection to us. Most of his autographs were obtained in person, but some were obtained through the mail. Both we and our consignor feel that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity. Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall! As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.
