Original Vintage Theatrical Belgian Poster (measures 14" x 22") (Learn More)

Fantomas, the 1947 Jean Sacha French master criminal crime thriller starring Marcel Herrand (in the title role as Fantomas), Simone Signoret (in one of her earliest starring roles!), Alexandre Rignault, Lucienne Le Marchand, and Andre Le Gall. Note that the Fantomas character was in French stories, and was in a French movie by Louis Feuillade in 1913, which spawned four sequels, and is generally considered to have been the forerunner of the American serials of the middle 1910s. There also was a 1920 English Fantomas, and a 1932 U.S. version prior to this movie.

Condition: very good. There is a tax stamp in the center of the right blank border slightly extending into the image background. There is a tack hole in each blank corner.
