They got Shaft... up to here."; "Shaft's his name. Shaft's his game."; "Hotter than Bond, Cooler than Bullitt."; "Based upon the novel by Ernest Tidyman", with a soundtrack by Isaac Hayes) starring Richard Roundtree (in the title role as John Shaft), Moses Gunn, Charles Cioffi, Christopher St. John, Drew Bundini Brown, Lawrence Pressman, and Gwenn Mitchell NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had creases and tiny tears in the left half of the top foldline and in the top quarter of the vertical foldline. There were creases on the other foldlines. There was a vertical foldline 4" from the right of the poster. There were some creases and scuffs scattered through the image. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
