Brown, Edwin Max, and Michael Mark NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a VERY unusual poster! There is a small area above the RKO logo that says "Re-released by" in it, and then that area has been overprinted with a dark ink (but you can read through the ink). Since the movie was released in 1949, it seems likely that this was simply a mistake on the poster, and that it was only noticed at the last minute, and the theaters needed the posters, so they simply overprinted them, instead of re-printing them! We have seen two different examples of this poster, and both look the same, and both have the correct 1949 copyright date and NSS number. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
