An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

a 1953 John Wayne stock poster used by theaters to advertise re-released John Wayne cowboy western movies from Republic studio. Theaters would order this poster, which has a large blank area where the title of the specific film being shown could be added, thus getting many posters for the price of one.

Condition: fair. There is light rippling and discoloration throughout the poster from exposure to moisture. There are many areas of paper loss and tears (some of which are several inches) that are scattered throughout, many of which have been repaired with tape from the back (much of that tape bleeds through to the front).
