Seitz romantic love triangle comedy ("All star cast"; a pretty clever idea about a young husband who gets married who starts a "honey-do" business, where he does all the jobs that people don't want to do for themselves like walking the dog, minding the baby, teaching the wife to drive, etc; it gets complicated when he ends up engaged to one customer and in love with another!) starring Robert Young, Madge Evans, Hardie Albright, Betty Furness, and Ralph Morgan NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that first release 1935 movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only auctioned a pressbook, a herald, and a still from this movie until we received this window card! Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 12" x 16" [30 x 41 cm]. Also note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: fair. The card was found in the back of a frame where it had been used as a backing board for a picture (many framers in the 1920s and 1930s would use window cards for this purpose, and they would trim them to the size of the frame, not caring that they were cutting into the image!). In this case, the trimming, which was to 12" x 16", affects the right and top of the card, and you can see what is missing by looking at our image. Since most of the title, image, and credits remain, I would think many people could display this card as is, but please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept its defects described above or are willing to pay to have them properly restored.
