A 1955 Re-release Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

The Sons of the Pioneers, the 1942 Joseph Kane singing cowboy western musical ("Based on an original story by Mauri Grashin and Robert T. Shannon") starring Roy Rogers, George 'Gabby' Hayes, Maris Wrixon, Bob Nolan and The Sons of the Pioneers, and Trigger (who was not yet billed on first release posters in this early Roy Rogers film). Note that The Sons of the Pioneers were a popular singing group who appeared in many Roy Rogers westerns, but this movie was named after them!

Condition: very good. smudges at lower center in the yellow background as well as some minor creases, smudges, and scuffs throughout the card (more so around the edges); 1/4" tear and some paper loss in the middle of the right edge of the card (see the image at right); pairs of staple holes in the credits at bottom as well as some in each corner of the card
