Seiter romantic radio contest musical comedy ("Adaptation by Curtis Kenyon and Art Arthur"; "Music and Lyrics by Mack Gordon and Harry Revel"; produced by Darryl F. Zanuck; about a radio contest to find "the average American" who can then be used to sell all sorts of products to the public, but then he falls in love, and he stops being "average") starring Adolphe Menjou, Jack Oakie, Jack Haley, Arleen Whelan, Tony Martin, Binnie Barnes, George Barbier, Herman Bing, and Warren Hymer
