If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this poster does not appear to be identified as a re-release, but actually it originally had the words "A RE-RELEASE" in tiny letters under the title, and some crafty restorer carefully painted over that area so that it is not at all noticeable. We would probably not have caught this (the restoration is that good!), but the poster has a litho number, and comparing it to our database of litho numbers, we can determine that this poster is from 1943, which means that it is a 1943 re-release of this 1939 movie.

Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were extremely well restored, OR it had some very minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). Note that we gave this condition grade to a very few posters that were in pretty good condition prior to linenbacking, but which were not all that well linenbacked, and which could be fairly easily re-backed with only minor additional restoration.

The poster had paper loss at the top crossfold, a pinhole in Autry's cheek by the vertical foldline and some small tears in the top 8" of the vertical foldline. There were pinholes in the corners. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed (but the restorer restored over the re-release information; see above!), and displays well.
