An Original Vintage Video Rental Store Movie Presskit (measures approximately 9" x 11 1/2"; contains 5 supplements, and 5 stills) (Learn More) Original Gangstas, the 1996 Larry Cohen black African American blaxploitation reunion crime action thriller ("It's time for some respect.") starring (all the greats) Fred Williamson, Jim Brown, Pam Grier, Paul Winfield, Isabel Sanford, Oscar Brown Jr., Richard Roundtree, Ron O'Neal, Wings Hauser, and Scarface (also known as DJ Akshen and a member of Geto Boys). Note that Larry Cohen had much success in TV in the 1960s, with many serious shows, including "The Defenders". In the early 1970s, he took a major shift in his writing focus, and he had great success with blaxploitation movies like "Black Caesar" and "Hell Up in Harlem", and then he shifted yet again in the early 1980s, directing and writing the "It's Alive" horror movies! Important Added Info: Note that this one-sheet measures approximately 9" x 11 1/2" and that it is for the video release of this movie, not the theatrical release. Also note that we have taken a picture of the cover of the presskit and four of the stills (less than four if the presskit has less than four stills, of course). We have noted if the presskit contains any supplements, but we do not picture them. All of the presskits are sealed and ready to be sent, and we cannot answer any questions about the contents, especially about what any stills we may have not pictured show. REMEMBER TO LOOK AT THE TOP OF THIS AUCTION TO SEE HOW MANY STILLS ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS PRESSKIT, BECAUSE WE NEVER PICTURE MORE THAN FOUR OF THEM (and we pretty much picked four stills at random). Condition: fine. The presskit is in quite nice condition! Note that the vast majority of the presskits we are auctioning this week were carefully stored away for many years, and the stills are usually in really excellent condition. Sometimes the folder that contains the stills has some wear on it, and you should be able to see that in our super-sized image.
