Harmon Weight silent romantic inheritance old age orphan romantic melodrama ("From the popular novel of the same name by Elizabeth Cooper"; a clever but complicated story of an elderly woman in a charity nursing home who inherits a million dollars and a mansion, and turns it into an orphanage, and she has a relative who is married and whose wife has a baby, but he is injured, so the wife gives the baby to the old woman's orphanage, and everything works out in the end) starring Kenneth Harlan, Mary Carr (in the title role as Drusilla Doane), Priscilla Bonner, Henry A. Barrows, William Humphrey, "and brilliant cast". Note that Mary Carr became a major star in the mid 1910s around the age of 40, playing the parts of saintly mothers. She continued to make movies (switching to grandmother roles) through the mid 1930s, and then continued with mostly uncredited parts until the mid 1950s. She passed away in 1973 at the age of 99!
