An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Italian Locandina Movie Poster (measures 12 3/4" x 27 1/2" [32 x 70 cm]) (Learn More)

Il Vendicatore (released in the U.S. as "Dubrowsky"), the 1959 William Dieterle Yugoslavian/Italian romantic adventure melodrama (set in Russia, it is kind of a Russian version of Robin Hood, with the son of a rich man leading a rebellion against a tyrant, and he falls in love with the tyrant's beautiful daughter) starring John Forsythe, Rosanna Schiaffino, William Dieterle, Nerio Bernardi, and Paul Dahlke. Note that German director William Dieterle had been a masterful director in Germany in the 1930s, and he came to the U.S. to escape Hitler, and he directed many memorable movies there. But by the late 1950s, he had trouble getting work, and he made this movie in Yugoslavia with an international cast, and he played a part in it himself!
