An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

The City Gone Wild, the 1927 James Cruze silent romantic love triangle underworld gang crime murder lawyer legal melodrama (a story that was likely old in 1927, but always enjoyable, about a lawyer who defends top criminals, but then, when his friend is murdered by them, he decides to go after the crooks!) starring Thomas Meighan, Marietta Millner, Louise Brooks, Fred Kohler, Duke Martin, and Nancy Philips. Note that this movie is largely forgotten today, except by major film buffs. Even then, it is best remembered for having an early film appearance by cult star Louise Brooks. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: Note that we have previously auctioned four lobby cards from this movie, but we have never auctioned THIS card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good to very good. There is some light staining at middle right, in the woman's fur and tiny surface paper loss in the man's shoulder. There is a pencil "X" in the lower left border. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
