La Regenta (literally translates to "The Regent"), the 1974 Gonzalo Suarez Spanish romantic melodrama (based on the novel by Leopoldo Alas 'Clarin') starring Pilar Bardem, Kieth Baxer, Nigel Davenport, Maruchi Fresno, and Rosario Garcia Ortega. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
