An Original Vintage Theatrical 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Our Gang was a long-running series of kids movies, started in 1922 by Hal Roach, and continuing for the next 20 years, with an ever changing cast (as the kids grew too old!). Among the best remembered cast members were George 'Spanky' McFarland, Carl 'Alfalfa' Switzer, Scotty Beckett (who later played the young Al Jolson in "The Jolson Story"), Billie 'Buckwheat' Thomas, Stymie Beard, Darla Hood, Sunshine Sammy Morrison, Jackie Cooper, and many others! Important Added Info: Note that the Our Gang kids had to go to school while they were filming, so Hal Roach hired Mrs. Fern Carter, a veteran teacher, to teach the kids between scenes! Also note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Condition: very good. The still has changed to a sepia color, but it still displays well and is otherwise in nice condition!
