An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 7 1/2" x 9 1/4" [19 x 23 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Harry Morgan was a long time character actor who appeared in many movies, but had great success in TV (first in December Bride, then in Dragnet, and finally in M*A*S*H as Col. Potter). He was born Harry Bratsberg, but used the name "Henry Morgan" until the early 1960s, when the comedian/game show panelist of the same name became famous, and then, to avoid confusion, he was first billed as "Henry 'Harry' Morgan" and later as "Harry Morgan". One of his very best movie appearances was in 1949's "Holiday Affair", where he has a wonderful cameo as an intrusive police lieutenant with Robert Mitchum, Janet Leigh, and Wendell Corey! Morgan passed away in 2011 at the age of 96. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Harry Morgan! Also note that this still measures 7 1/2" x 9 1/4" [19 x 23 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Our consignor is a very longtime collector of movie paper who purchased this item years ago, and it was signed, but he doesn't know how the signature was obtained, and he (and we) believe it is likely that the autograph is authentic.
