The Market of Souls, the 1919 Joseph de Grasse silent World War I (WWI) romantic love triangle brothers melodrama ("Supervised by Thomas H. Ince"; "By John Lynch"; a wild story of a nurse who goes to New York City and gets mixed up with a married brother and his shy unmarried brother; the married brother makes advances on her and his wife is furious, and the other brother ends up hit in the head and blinded, and the nurse not only secretly arranges to nurse the blinded brother, but she also convinces the married brother to join the Army; at the movie's climax, the blinded brother regains his sight, and he initially hates the nurse because he thinks she broke up his brother's marriage, but then the brother in the army is killed, and his "spirit" visits the formerly blinded brother and confesses that the nurse was innocent!) starring Philo McCullough, Dorothy Dalton, Dorcas Matthews, Holmes Herbert, and Donald MacDonald.
