An Original Vintage Television Script (measures 8 1/2" x 11", 35 pages) (Learn More) The Twilight Zone, the 1959 - 1964 Rod Serling CBS surreal bizarre science fiction (sci-fi) supernatural fantasy thriller television (TV) series narrated by Rod Serling and featuring an ever changing cast (different people in every episode, but a few people played parts in more than one episode) including Jack Klugman, Burgess Meredith, William Shatner, and many, many others. Note that this series got its start when Rod Serling wrote an episode of Westinghouse Desilu Playhouse in 1958 called "The Time Element". It was introduced by Desi Arnaz, who explained the fantasy element of the story and returned at the end to tell you what you had seen! A year later, The Twilight Zone aired for the first time. The show was very controversial, because Rod Serling added a great deal of social commentary to his scripts, but over time, this series has come to be regarded as one of the finest TV series ever, and decades ahead of its time. Important Added Info: Note that this script is from the 1960s (it was issued by a private company to people who took a correspondence course in screenwriting). This screenplay was written by Rod Serling for Season 1, Episode 5: "Walking Distance", starring Gig Young and Ron Howard. Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
