To Monte Carlo Villas... The Inside Story of the Men Behind the Beauty Racket!"; "Now a startling expose!"; "From the Boardwalk to Monte Carlo Villas... the glamorous, fabulous world of girls thrown into the rat race of beauty contests... and the men who bargain for them!"; "Behind the beauty and glamour - the primitive law of the jungle" about the rise and fall of a beautiful office worker who wins a beauty contest, but then sees her fortunes fade) starring Ian Hendry, Janette Scott ("sensationally and excitingly different..."), Ronald Fraser, Edmund Purdom, and Jean Claudio. Note that Janette Scott is best remembered for her starring role in "Day of the Triffids" in 1963, which was immortalized in the lyrics of the song from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" that says "And I really got hot When I saw Janette Scott fight a triffid that spits poison and kills." She divorced her first husband and married Mel Torme in 1966, which pretty much ended her career, as she quickly had two children. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" lobby card for this English movie! Also note that this is from a special deluxe set of lobby cards printed in Italy for use in the U.S. On the lower right of the card is printed "PRINTED IN ITALY BY 'LA ROTOGRAFICA ROMANA'". Condition: good to very good. There are holes punched in the lower right border that form letters and numbers, but otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition!
