An Unfolded English Art Exhibition Poster (measures 19 3/4" x 29 3/4" [50 x 76 cm]) (Learn More)

Tate Gallery Warhol, the 1971 English museum exhibition of Andy Warhol's art which was held from February 17th to March 28th at The Tate Gallery in London, England. Before the English gallery exhibition, it was at the Pasadena Art Museum in May and June of 1970, and then at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago in July and August, and then at the Stedelijk van Abbe-museum in Eindhoven in October and November, and then at the Musee d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris in December and January. After this Tate Gallery showing, it had a final showing in the Whitney Museum in New York City. Note that this item features art of Marilyn Monroe by Andy Warhol.

Important Added Info: Note that there are two versions of this poster. A version printed on wove (matte) paper (which is far more rare) and a version which is on glossy paper. The version offered here is the ultra rare wove paper version! We have auctioned 12 of the glossy version, but only TWO of the wove paper version, and the last one sold for $900!

Condition: fair to good. The poster is somewhat faded (see our image). It has a few tiny dot stains. Please see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this poster prior to placing a bid and please do not bid unless you can accept the defects described above.
