An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Il Buono, il Brutto, il Cattivo (released in the U.S. in 1968 as "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly"), the classic 1966 Sergio Leone German/Italian/Spanish Civil War cowboy spaghetti western ("For Three Men The Civil War Wasn't Hell. It Was Practice!"; "Screenplay by Age-Scarpelli, Luciano Vincenzoni and Sergio Leone") starring Clint Eastwood (in the title role as The Good), Lee Van Cleef (in the title role as The Bad), Eli Wallach (in the title role as The Ugly; billed as "also starring Eli Wallach in the role of Tuco"), Aldo Giuffre, Mario Brega, Antonio Casas, Rada Rassimov, Aldo Sambrel, Enzo Petito, Luigi Pistilli, Livio Lorenzon, Al Mulloch, Sergio Mendizabal, Molino Rojo, and Lorenzo Robledo NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had very minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were well restored, OR it had some minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). all four of the blank white borders were folded back at one time. There were many pinholes around the edges of the poster (it appears the folded back borders were stapled to the back of the poster). There were creases and some small tears on many folds and some light smudges in the white background areas. The poster was pretty well linenbacked, but you can see some signs of the restoration, even from a distance away. Learn More about condition grades
