A 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" [19 x 24 cm] Radio Publicity Still (Learn More) To Have and Have Not, the 1946 World War II (WWII) romantic suspense melodrama radio play (adapted from the classic story by Ernest Hemingway) starring Lauren Bacall, Humphrey Bogart, Betty Alexander, Tim Graham, and Robin Hughes. Note that this was a radio adaptation of the 1944 movie of the same name, which also starred Bacall and Bogart, and of course, it is where they met and fell in love, so one could see why they would be willing to participate in a radio adaptation of that movie! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this candid shows Bacall and Bogart reading a yachting magazine, which the snipe on the back describes as "their favorite sport"! Also note that this radio still has been trimmed and it now measures 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" [19 x 24 cm]. Condition: good. There are light creases and ripples scattered in the still, caused by the snipes glued to the back, but they are mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light.
